News for December 2006:-

Perpetual Homes, Gavin has been busy for the last 18 months completing the development of our first 3, four bedroom detached houses in Poundon Oxon. During November Gavin sold the first unit above the estimated project price. The project was our first in the property development sector and brought with it a number of lessons learnt, this has resulted in revisions to the way we resource projects in the future by moving more towards contracted out resources. So a big thankyou to Gavin in sticking with it and delivering the results. 

I-Lovebike, Mike has now relocated to Spain to setup the new business. November saw a hectic month for Mike in both personal and business terms. New premises were acquired for the business, supplier negotiations started on sourcing the bikes and providing hire insurance, along with a lot of leg work on initial marketing campaigns to acquire agents. Mike is now planning the shop fitout and will continue the focus on appointing Agents up to the shop opening in March. 

Onein4000, Ross has been busy getting ready to launch the Onein4000 show in the run up to Xmas, November saw the early telemarketing work to acquire club venues to run the show and prize draws. The results so far are encouraging with Club Mass in Brixton placing an order for 23/12/06 in the first day of telemarketing, along with a sales appointment run rate of 14 in 2 days. Congratulations to Ross in what is becoming a text book example of getting it right first time.

Club288, Sean has been running hard at two business launch campaigns, telemarketing to appoint agents and direct marketing to kick off the sales cycle in December. A significant effort has gone into developing the business proposition, initiating telemarketing and planning the December advertising campaign in The Sunday Times edition 17/12/06. On top of all this, Sean has also been on appointments for agents. A fantastic effort in November and we all look forward to a successful campaign in December.

5CountiesEquestrian, this will be a new business launch in the new year and work is in progress developing the value proposition, compelling argument, marketing approach, P+L projections, resource planning and website development. I will keep you all updated each month as we launch the business.

It has been only 2 months since we started planning the new businesses and it is a fantastic achievement for all involved to have now launched each business and to be running at the sales cycle so early. A fantastic commitment and a big thank you to each of you.
